PS 1800-82

RRB’s PS 1800-82 MW based wind turbine is designed to deliver superior performance and reliability, even in extreme environmental conditions. The dynamic design of the 1.8 MW WEG (Wind Energy Generator) gives a higher level of safety, quality & efficiency and is suitable for 50 Hz and 60 Hz. grids, operating in Wind class II & III sites.

Generator with a high level of efficiency which is suitable for power conversion operations and ensuring that a wide range of speed variations is possible in order to account for varying environmental conditions and power requirements

A microprocessor-based controller that has a touch screen facility on the operator panel. Hub, Top and Bottom controllers are available. Monitoring the performance of the WEG (Wind Energy Generator) is done through an in-built SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system

An IGBT (Insulated-gate bipolar transistor) based power convertor with grid fault ride-through capability ensures that no separate Capacitor panel is required (during Operation) for power factor improvement since the power converter is used to feed power to the grid
